Asemblon specializes in chemicals that are used in surface engineering applications. Although we mainly have been focusing on long-chain alkanethiols we have capabilities to manufacture other organic chemicals. We will evaluate every request. For most surface engineering applications, small amounts of chemicals are required. Therefore, we typically quote on 200 mg, but we are capable of producing much larger quantities. Please inquire.

We guarantee custom synthesized compounds to meet at least a 97% minimum purity, but they commonly exceed 99%. We analyze each batch by at least two methods, such as NMR and HPLC or GC/MS. Your custom products will be shipped accompanied by all analytical data for the finished product, as well as a certificate of analysis. If you have particular quality requirements, we will gladly manufacture products to your specifications.

Lead Times:

We typically allow one week to order and receive chemicals, 1 week on average to execute each synthetic step, and 1 week for quality control analysis. On average, a typical 2-3 step synthesis will take 4-6 weeks from start to finish. When we receive a confirmed order for custom synthesis we are usually able to schedule the start of the synthetic work within 2 weeks of receipt of order.
