Description
This compound has been used to generate monolayers resistant to the adsorption of proteins. Different chain lengths of the ethylene oxide moiety have different protein resistance capabilities (K. L. Prime; G. M. Whitesides; J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1993, 115, 10714).
